Cozumel has been a favorite Caribbean dive destination for years! Known for its relaxing drift diving and consistently clear water – Cozumel offers world class snorkeling and diving no matter your level of experience.

Cozumel waters are loaded with turtles, stingrays, eagle rays, moray eels, nurse sharks, and various species of reef fish. Night diving is incredible whether you dive from boat or shore. Lobster, crab, octopus, and reef squid are just a few types of marine life you can expect to see.

This is a perfect location to further your dive education. Choose from a number of continued education classes such as Drift Diver, Night Diver, Deep Diver, Boat Diver, etc. that will be offered by your trip leaders.

We will be staying at Hotel Cozumel. This beautiful hotel is located on the water just
one mile south of downtown. It features restaurant, bar, dive shop, and pool as well as hammocks overlooking the water to relax in after a day of diving.

For those divers who can’t get enough of Cozumel’s undersea life, unlimited shore diving is always available just a few steps away from your room. Lockers are located next to the water for convenient gear storage.

You’ll be picked up daily at the dock and transported to some of the world’s most spectacular reefs and fish life. After a day of diving, you’ll be able to trade experiences with other divers while relaxing by the pool or on the hammocks located on the water.

As part of the Belize Barrier Reef, the Atoll consists of creeks, lagoons, mangrove islands and cayes. It is home to over 500 species of fish, 65 different species of stony corals as well as birds, turtles, manatees and dolphins.

Belize Dive Haven is located on 47-acres of breathtakingly beautiful and private land within the Tuneffe Atoll. Nestled between palm trees and the Caribbean Sea, we provide the perfect getaway for couples, individuals or groups.

Diving

Turneffe Atoll was designated a marine reserve in 2012 and is considered to have the best resort-based diving in all of Belize. The shallower reefs provide the perfect dive spot for novices, while the nearby Great Blue Hole is the perfect scuba location for experienced divers.

There are countless dive locations in and around the atoll and we can tailor your diving adventures to your expertise level and preference. Belize dive Haven is centrally located to the best sites in Belize.

Belize is home to the largest barrier reef in the northern hemisphere with an area that stretches about 300 kilometres. The reef is a UNESCO heritage site and it’s the second largest reef system in the world with its seven sites (Bacalar Chico National Park and Marine Reserve, Great Blue Hole, Half Moon Caye, South Water Caye, Glovers Reef, Laughing Bird Caye and Sapodilla Cayes) showcasing how a reef develops.

The reef is home to numerous threatened species, such as the West Indian manatee, the green turtle, the hawksbill turtle, the loggerhead turtle and the American crocodile. The largest West Indian manatee population in the world lives in the area with numbers of between 300 to 700.

You’ll be exposed to all kinds of plant life with the reef boasting 178 types of plants that grow on land and 247 types of plants that grow in the water. During your ocean explorations, you have the chance to see over 500 types of fish, 65 marine corals, along with many different kinds of sponges, crustaceans and molluscs.

They put their gear in the bag, place it outside their door the first morning, and our dive staff will take it to the boat and set it up. The dive staff on-board changes the divers’ tanks after every dive. At day’s end divers take their wetsuits, diveskins and masks to the storage area to dry and their photo/video gear to their rooms. All of the divers gear on-board will be rinsed with fresh clean water after each diving day.
