Cozumel – March 30-April 6, 2024

Join Aquaventure PADI Instructor and group trip leader, Noel Skogen, as we head to Cozumel for another amazing adventure! This destination continues to becozumel the biggest bang for your buck in the Caribbean! From topside to bottom-side, it’s hard to beat the Cozumel experience!

Cozumel has been a favorite Caribbean dive destination for years! Known for its relaxing drift diving and consistently clear water – Cozumel offers world class snorkeling and diving no matter your level of experience.

Cozumel waters are loaded with turtles, stingrays, eagle rays, moray eels, nurse sharks, and various species of reef fish. Night diving is incredible whether you dive from boat or shore. Lobster, crab, octopus, and reef squid are just a few types of marine life you can expect to see.

We will be staying at Iberostar. This quaint resort is tucked in the flora and fauna of the island and  located at the South End right on the water’s edge.  Some of the best dive sites of Cozumel are just a few minutes by boat from the resort’s dock!    This resort features multiple restaurants, bars, an onsite dive shop, a beautiful pool, and hammocks overlooking the water…a perfect way to relax after a day of diving!

You’ll be picked up daily at the dock and transported to some of the world’s most spectacular reefs and fish life.

Dominica – January 17-25, 2025

Aquaventure and trip leader Adam Payeur are headed to Dominica!

This beautifully breathtaking island offers waterfall hikes, hot spring soaks, rainforest walks, unmatched black-sand beaches, and of course…world-class scuba diving right off the dock!  Join us and explore the Caribbean’s “Nature Isle” by both land and sea!

We will stay at Fort Young Hotel and Dive Resort, which is nestled in the hillside on the Caribbean sea amidst Dominica’s vibrant capital city, Roseau.  Boasting modern boutique-style accommodations and amenities, from seaside al fresco dining, entertainment, and shopping on the resort’s waterfront, to the neighboring French Quarter’s Saturday markets, a variety of restaurants, and much more right on your doorstep!  Let the Fort Young concierge help you book many of the island’s guided tours:  hike to waterfalls and secluded beaches, dip in the natural hot springs, explore one of their several national parks, visit the ‘boiling lake,’ bird watch the piton’s jungle canopy with a guide, swim in the Emerald Pools, and much more!

Scuba Diving

The dramatic mountains of Dominica are mirrored in the topography of their underwater dive sites. Cliff faces plunge into the Caribbean Sea, pinnacles rise up from the surrounding depths, and volcanic ridges slope off into the deep blue water.

Dive sites teem with healthy coral reefs and schools of fish, while barracudas, turtles, and stingrays frequently swim through dive groups along the reef rim. Comprised of gnarled volcanic ledges, crevices and swim-throughs, these reefs are a refuge for a myriad of small delights such as seahorses and frogfish!  Other rare critters like batfish, flying gurnards, yellow head jawfish, upside-down jellyfish, and flamingo tongues can be found here too!

With Dominica’s incredibly warm seas and vibrant marine life, along with uncrowded dive sites and an excellent dive staff, the Fort Young Dive operator is sure to give our group an amazing experience as we explore the reefs together!
