If you’ve ever wanted to get into underwater photography but just don’t know where to start. Watch the video below. We will be posting a three part series on “Getting Started in Underwater Photography.”
Part 1 is “Building Your Camera System” – choosing a digital camera with underwater photography in mind. Three things to look for when choosing a digital camera include:
- Make sure your camera has a underwater housing available for it
- Has the ability to expand (compatible with underwater conversion lenses, strobes, and allows you to grow as you learn).
- Has the ability to do “Custom” or “Manual” white balance. Also, that it shoots HD video if you want to be able to make movies.
